Can someone tell me where the oil light switch is, my oil light is out, if the switch is easier to get to than the lamp I can run tests from the switch

It's right next to where the oil filter screws on. On the right side.

I really wouldn't worry about it. If your bike doesn't use any oil, which I never had a bike that did,
