What is this part called?
My husband believes this part is causing his problems in getting it started. Any idea what this is called so we can look to order a new one? Any input on where a replacement part may be found?

Starter relay A. Often called a starter solenoid.
Part number 35850-MT8-003 is for the whole unit pictured.
It does come apart so you can just replace the fuse holder or the switch portion.
Be sure to test it before condemning it as there are a lot of things in the start system that can have the same symptoms.
For example, there are two of those relays, A and B.

Hi I didn't know the answer to your question as I havent had to find the relays in my bike yet. I have only had it for a year now.
However I did a quick search and found this from an earlier post by Denver Wing
"Pull the side covers and check to see that BOTH start relays are clicking, the "A" relay is right next to the front of the battery box, the big heavy battery cable connects directly to it and the "B" relay is down lower near the oil dipstick with more big heavy cables."
