Corner lights wiring
I have two 1500s a 93se and a 95 se which is a non runner because of gearbox issues, both look the same but I wanted to swop some of the fairing panels as the 95 has corner lights and the earlier model doesn't but when I took the lower fairing panel off the 93 bike there was no wiring connector for the lights. So my question is how do I wire the corner lights into the bike so they stay on when I turn the key. Do I need another fuse for me to do that or can I wire it to another part of the bikes harness.
Wiring is not something that comes easy to me .

Re: Corner lights wiring
I have wired my '96 with several accessories ( grip warmers, Garmin, USB chargers, etc ) which turn on when the ignition is ON. You could do the same to control your cornering lights.
Here's a high level for how these add-on electrical devices are wired without making any changes to the existing wiring. i prefer not to add more AMPS though a harness that wasn't engineered/built for the added load.
I have installed a distribution point behind the left front fairing pocket where all my add-ons connect to power. That distribution point is powered from the battery via a relay controlled by the "5A ACC TERM" connection in the fuse box under your left cheek. The distribution point is grounded to the battery. When the ignition turns on, it activates the 5A ACC TERM circuit which activates the relay i've added, which activates my add-on accessories. You could power your cornering lights from a distribution point controlled this way.
I modified my 96 SE which already had cornering lights, so that both of them illuminate when the low beams are ON. To do this, I replaced the turn indicator circuits as the controls for the relays switching the cornering lights, with power from the low beam switch on the left handle.

Re: Corner lights wiring
There should be connectors in the factory harness. These are often taped out of the way on bikes where the lights were not fitted. There is also a short harness and some relays to run those lights. Cutting one wire on the relays will keep the lights on all the time. However, if using the stock high power incandescent bulbs, they can get pretty hot and melt some things. If you have LED conversions that isn't a problem.

Re: Corner lights wiring
Thanks for the posts, good info.
I did send off for LEDs for the corner lights but when I got them they didn't fit.
Need to go looking on the net for decent LED dealers.
Thanks again.

Sorry for sounding thick but how and where do you put the relay. I can see the terminal at the top of the fuse box but after that I just scratch my head
