Hello I just purchased my first goldwing (1998 GL1500) I have no idea about most of the things on this bike but it had many switches etc that did not work when I received it. I have taken apart and cleaned each switch and now most of the electronics seem to work again other than a few issues, The radio works but only the front left speaker, the rear speakers are brand new and have never been used however they do not come on...I have read on here something about a fader switch but my bike does not seem to have one, is this switch mandatory for them to work? My next issue is the rear brakes, the person I got it from said they just needed new pads and it came with a set so I replaced the pads and bled the system and while it does "work" it is extremely weak and the pedal still bottoms out easily yet there is no air in the system.
P.S. What does that "AMB" button do on the radio and the IC knob, actually I don't really know what any of the 3 middle knobs do
P.S.S. Also I forgot the low fuel light is stuck on (gauge works fine) I have unplugged the wire that makes it come on at the top of the fuel tank but unsure of what I need to replace so that it works normally again.

AMB is Ambience, it is an effect. IC VOL is intercom volume, mute is intercom auto mute level, AVC is automatic volume control, it turns up the volume as you go faster. For 98 I think the factory fader is on the left handlebar control pod. Aftermarket faders can be found in a bunch of places. Do you have an SE? They came with rear speakers, on other models it was an option.
This is all in the owner's manual. If you don't have one, you might want to get one.
