Winterized Old Fuel

Post by ValleyView »

Greetings all, I winterized my '95 1500 about 18 months ago( missed a year of riding season). I did follow the advice of wingman and did the Seafoam and 2x marine fuel stabilizer.
Sooo.. can I be lazy and still use it? (Its so hard being responsible sometimes). I think I hear Jimmney Cricket on my shoulder already.! Thanks for any replies. Kurt

Sure, why not.
Maybe drain half of it into a can and mix fresh fuel with the half that remains.
Then use the half you drained on the next fill up with more fresh fuel.

That was my initial intention at $2.00 Cdn a liter x24 liters ;( . but a mechanic buddy lent me his Mityvac 7201 - made it so easy to empty. (Means i didn't have to suffer as long).
Thanks for the reply.
