Hi,
Have very slight play when I have the front wheel off the ground and pull it back and forth. Assume there should be none but how do you work out if it in the head bearing or its a worn fork bushes?
Thank you
Craig

Pull on the fork tube uppers and see if there is still play.
Push and pull on the handlebars and see if you can feel the play.
Put a finger on the upper or lower stem bearing area so that it touches both the triple clamps and the head tube. Shake the wheel and see if you can feel the play.
Usually by the time the fork bushings are worn, the fork seals are long gone and leaking oil.

Thank you Rambozo,
I will check that out.
No leak from the forks, so hopefully just require a retorque of the head bearings

No movement from the handlebar test
None from feeling bottom yolk and head tube.
If I put to full lock and pull on the back of the tyre I get a bit of movement, only slight
Could do with another pair of hands....
I do not have a steering brace, undecided on the superbrace but would fit blackwing, but alas, as we all know, they are gone

Actually, I believe one of the other parties involved has now taken over production.
