Stubby style Replacement Antennas

Post by JBisHERE »

Hello all! I've purchased two stubby style antennas off Amazon, and even though Amazon said it fit my bike they didn't, so rather than trying again randomly I figured I'd ask here. I'm just simple looking to replace the long whip antenna's with like a 6 inch or so stubby style antenna, preferably a chrome or black one. Anybody know where I could find such a thing?

Btw, I don't really care about if it makes the radio reception bad or the CB useless. I use neither things on the bike.

For reference these are the two I got off Amazon that didn't fit:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BDY ... UTF8&psc=1

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BFP ... UTF8&psc=1

Thanks in advance!

You probably want to look here...

https://www.amazon.com/AntennaMastsRus- ... B07DFQCP7V

Now, they do have multiple versions of antennas that fit (correctly) onto a GL1500 - see the drop-down menu for details. The fact they're based in WI, along with the ability to contact 'em seems like a better way to go.

Send those others back to Amazon.

Hope this helps.

If you don't use them why not just take them off and cap the mounting holes with small carriage bolts to trim it off. Just my opinion. That would give it a clean look.
