The rear tire on the motorcycle is a bit used, the front one is still good for this season. I have a cheaper option to purchase a set of DURO tires: HF-296A 130/70-18 63H (for the front wheel) and DURO HF-296C 160/80-16 75H (for the rear wheel). With both, I would get half the price of a set of Dunlop Elite 4 or Metzeler 888. Somewhere on internet I found this description:
"HF296 CRUISER/GENERAL REPLACEMENT BIAS TIRES
The premium-quality touring or cruiser tire
Stronger and lighter with higher thread-count cords in a cross-ply reinforced arrangement
Heavy-load capacity and deep water-shedding grooves will satisfy the most demanding rider
H-rated for speeds up to 130 mph
Load/Speed rating: 75H
Tubeless"
Has anyone use or try this tires brand on GL1500? Thank you.
DURO (HF-296C) 160/18-16 75H budget tire?
