Hello. This happened today. I just start the bike to run for a ride and rpm indicator gone crazy. It seems like it count double. Thursday was run ok, last time when I used the bike. All of them, the engine runs ok, all electric (lights radio) ok.
When the contact switched on, the engine RPM meter needle, jump up shortly two lines. Never happen that, till now. Please, need help. Thank you.
PS
What is this? It is not connected and is under dashboard on frame.

Re: RPM high at idle
Hello.
I think I resolved the issue, after two days of checking the cables, connectors, relays, voltages... In the end, I persevered and opened the board with the indicator clocks. I took out the tachometer and replaced part of the electrolytic capacitors. One remained unchanged (1000µF/6.3V), I had the respective value, but it had different external dimensions and could not be mounted. There is also a tantalum polarized capacitor with a small value of 0.1µF (which I know still produces problems due to age), but I did not have another type similar to that value. All in all, it is now functional. However, I will have to see how I can solve the idle oscillation problem...

Re: RPM high at idle
Interesting, this is the first time I've heard of failed caps in the tach driver before.

Re: RPM high at idle
I do not know if these caps are failed, I have no ESR-meter, but changed them, resolved my issue.
