Ignition switch cover.

Post by keswing »

Can anyone help identify the rheostat attached to the ignition switch cover on my 1989 Honda Goldwing GL1500. When I checked the wiring I noticed it goes into the main loom, so it doesn't look like it's an after market addition. I've attached pictures of the ignition switch cover. N.B. The 2 switches on the ignition switch cover are for switching off the headlights and the sidelights. These were on the bike when I purchased it.

That is a common location for a front to rear fader when adding a rear speaker kit. Here is an example.

Rear speaker fader control, Add on accessory.
