Hello all been reading for several days love all the info here. Bought my first goldwing a 2000 gl1500 se asp. Blue in color. Would like to ask first question. Where can I find connector for lights on left side trunk and saddle bag. Mine are coming on and off. Thinking loose co6

Welcome.

C6 is up at the dash. What you are looking for is probably C75 which lives under the trunk. Remove the trim cover and there are a bunch of rear lighting connectors. Keep a lookout for PO installed substandard wiring. 9 times out of 10 it's not Honda's wiring that is the problem, but some bozo using a vampire tap or other bogus splice to add more lights than a Christmas tree.
If you don't have it, get yourself the factory service manual and electrical troubleshooting manual. That can be had on ebay for cheap if you watch. Well worth it even if you pay retail from Honda.

EDIT: The saddlebag brake and tail light is before C75 so if that is also going out you may have to go back as far as C10 (under the seat). But again, my guess is that you will find some molestation in the wiring under the trunk.

Thank you. Looking for manual. Just brought her home last night. Think you are right about molestation of wire have found two vampire taps already. Got some fun ahead of me. This is a great place for information.

Update found bad splice. Lights working. Splice was in wiring under left rear taillight. Thanks for help.
