Another what is it question
Decided to flush and bleed front brake. After opening master cylinder I found this floating in fluid.. It is the flat white item screwdriver pointing at. It was under the black piece.

It's called a float. I believe it's purpose is to prevent the brake fluid from being agitated when on rough road surfaces to prevent air bubbles from being forced into the brake system.
