Replace windshielf

i would like to replace the windshield of my GL1500; do you recommend the original, or some aftermarket brand/model?

Bike came with a yellowed and hazy slipstreamer I think. Was in terrible shape. Purchased F4 Customs as replacement and has been very good.l. Coatings very durable mine is 10yrs old and in great condition. Purchased standard height with vent. While was maybe the most expensive replacement windshield thinking money was well spent.

Do you want to look through the windshield or over the windshield?

I replaced a Tulsa Tall on my 1500 with a Madstad and loved the change.
The Tulsa Tall did give good wind protection, the the point that riding in summer was not fun due to being so hot with no airflow (even with wind wings). Plus I hate looking through the windshield, it is annoying on the best day, and dangerous on rainy days.
The Madstad still gave me good wind protection, with the ability to adjust airflow as needed, and allowed me to look over the windscreen, which I feel more comfortable with.
