Good evening everyone!
The old owner of my GL1500 has installed a jack cable on the left side (see the picture).
I connect my iPhone 14 (with adaptor), I pute the radio on headphones symbol but doesn't work
Could you help me to understand the way to play the music?
Thank you very much!
Killo!

Re: Help jack cable
It may be wired into the cassette. If it is you probably have to put a dummy cassette in the cassette player. You could just find an old cassette and take it apart and pull the tape off of the reels and then put it back together. Put it in the player and switch the radio/cassette button to cassette.
Not sure this will work but it is what i would try.

Re: Help jack cable
The best thing would be to trace the wire and see where it goes. Then you know what you are dealing with.
It could also be a FM Modulator. The cable goes to an adaptor that fits between the antenna cable and the radio. Hook your music up to the plug. Turn the radio on and set it at 88.3 and see if you have any music. If not, go up to 88.5 then to .7 and so on. The modulators were set somewhere in the 88 and 89 range. I had one on my wing. This is how I got XM radio into the bike's radio system.
