Problem with high beams

Good morning everyone!
I have a little question with the high beams of my GL 1500.
When I push temporarily the botton of the high beams, they work normally (they illuminate well the way), instead, when I fixed the same botton, the high beams have a different light that does'n illuminate very well (the light appear more white and taller).

So when looking at the front of the bike, what lights come on when you do each of these?
I am guessing you have the flash to pass switch since yours is a Euro model?

Yes, my Gold is Euro model (year 2000).
If I push the flash the high beams are ok, instead if the botton is always on the light of the high beams is different
