won't trac
My new (to me) 97 GL 1500 won't trac, it wants to wander from the line I'm in. If you put a level from one mirror to the other, it is constantly switching up and down. It has newly rebuilt front forks with progressive springs, new tires, and a new fork brace. The next thing I can think of is new steering head bearings? Has anyone had this problem ? If it was a car I'd have it aligned.

Re: won't trac
Throttling gives it a little torque. Not sure of the overall balance. As with flying, riding I'm sure it's all relevant.
Evenly distributed weight will help some. Try a nice neutral downhill role and see if it drifts then. If not so much it
could be the torque from the driveshaft during some throttling. One more note, uneven wear on the tires will cause most drifting.
