I have had problems and need help please it started on a ride stopped at red light and starter engaged and kept turning until battery died.got it home and started checking it out changed out stater solenoids A and B and would not start took starter out and had cleaned and tested it was ok put it back in and same thing no start. I have power at solenoid A and at one postsol B and can start when I jump across both post on sol.B
I am a loss

Check for power and ground at the two signal wires on relay B. Grn/red should be grounded, and yel/red should be hot.
If there is no power, check 5A fuse to the left of the battery.
If there is no power, check 5A fuse to the left of the battery.

My 92 kept the starter running one time when the starter button was stuck and I didn't realize it until I got to a meeting spot with fellow riders and they told me that I had no headlight. The starter turns off the headlight while starting. Was your headlight on when this happened? You could simply have a dirty start switch.
