Check for power and ground at the two signal wires on relay B. Grn/red should be grounded, and yel/red should be hot.
If there is no power, check 5A fuse to the left of the battery.

My 92 kept the starter running one time when the starter button was stuck and I didn't realize it until I got to a meeting spot with fellow riders and they told me that I had no headlight. The starter turns off the headlight while starting. Was your headlight on when this happened? You could simply have a dirty start switch.
