No gauges and won't start

Post by Ferdy »

I noticed while driving yesterday my gas gauge and temp gauge stopped working. I shut it off and went to start it again and nothing. No click or anything. I was on a slope so I rolled down with the key on and she fired right up. Once home I noticed no headlight . Can someone point me in the right direction? I've read several posts but sounds like their bikes still start. Thanks in advance. Dave

Have you measured the battery voltage?

As far as your head light... Stick your thumb under your starter button and pull back... These switches get gummed up and you might just get your light back if ya do that.

Ok I might have to give more details. As I was driving I noticed gas and temp gauge went to zero. I shut it off at the store and came out to a no start situation. I decided to try and push start and it fired right up. Upon further inspection I have no headlight or taillights. No neutral light or sidestand light. Radio, flashers, and digital display work and brake lights. Battery is good but when I hit the starter button I have nothing. Does this help a little more? Fuse? That relay? Thank you.
