Hazzard Switch
A 1999 Goldwing 1500. My apologies in advance but this is another Hazzard Switch question. I cleaned the Hazzard Switch with electrical cleaner, the button now works freely as it should. Press in, click and it stays in. Press in again, click and it pops out. In, out. In, out. The problem is flashers only flash if I press in and hold it in all the way. As soon as I release the button the flasher goes off. Any ideas? Does anyone have an extra one they want to sell?

Re: Hazzard Switch
Sounds like you will have to disassemble the switch and do a good cleaning to clean the switch contacts, and possibly replace the spring inside. Sometimes these switches get beyond just spraying cleaner in them.

Re: Hazzard Switch
If you get brave enough to tear down the switch, be sure to do it inside a good sized clear plastic bag!! That way you can see what you are doing and also catch the pesky little parts/springs that like to launch to the moon or farther. BTDT!! I have cleaned the switches like that on all my wings except my 80 because it does not have those switches!
