GL1500 after market electric replacement for my fuel pump
Bought a new genuine original OEM fuel pump assembly, which ran great for a week. Can I buy just the electric pump motor and mount it to my fuel pump frame? Or are there other possibilities or suggestions?

Read through this site. It seems to have pretty good information.

your new pump should have a warranty?

Re: GL1500 after market electric replacement for my fuel pump
UPDATE: We are having a ton of issues trying to find this fuel pump for our 1996 Goldwing GL1500 Aspencade. Napa told us the cross over for the FE0009 is FE0479. Napa does not have them in stock, nor do they have the filter strainer. We have looked online and Amazon has the FE0479 and the strainer FS0127 for $87. We're thinking of ordering that. Any thoughts on whether we are making a good choice or not? Just want to be sure we do not over-gas or under-gas the bike. Any feedback or reviews on this, please?

How long ago did you purchase the new OEM pump? Was it not warrantied?
