I just found that I have Progressive springs in my forks and since they require no air pressure, I was wondering if anyone knows the thread size of the schrader valve?
I may remove them and install bolts instead.

If the Schrader valves are not leaking, just leave them in place.

Re: Fork Schrader valve thread size?
Is that the thread size of the part that sticks up from the fork?
I am looking for the size of the threads that go into the cap of the fork. So that if I decided to REMOVE the schrader I can replace them with a bolt.

Re: Fork Schrader valve thread size?
While it is a normal metric thread, (M8 JIS as I recall?) it also requires an O-ring groove and a tapered seat to fit. So, a plain bolt will not seal properly. And while you do run zero psi static, the fork still needs to be air tight as the pressure goes up when compressed.
If you have a lathe it's not hard to make plugs. I had a damaged valve and made this replacement. If I made a sketch of the dimensions, I must have pitched it when I finished.
Another option is to just get the fork caps from a non-SE model as they don't have air valves.
