Installation Garmin Zumo XT on battery

Hi everyone!
I would like to install the navigator Garmin Zumo XT directly on battery of my GL1500.
Someone of you have done it?
In the box there is the cable to connect directly on battery (it's easy); I'd like to know the exactly "path" of the cable.

If you are mounting it to the handlebars, the bar cover will come off. There are plastic strips on the bottom of the cover that holds it on the bars. Take it off and run the cable with the others that are there. Leave a little slack for turning when you get to the frame head. Then just run it along the frame with the other cables to the battery. You will need to take some of the plastic off to do this. Change the air filter while you have all the plastic off if you have not done so before. If you are mounting to the dash below the key, just run it along the frame to the battery.
