Progressive 412 shocks. Who's got em? Are these the right ones?

Post by Quick Cal »

I've given up on trying to find 416's. After reading a few replies from sidecar and trike guys saying they run the 412's I started looking to put some on my 96 sidecar rig. I just now found these on sale for black Friday I guess, $75 cheaper than the going rate. And another 10% off for signing up to email. So for $248 with free shipping I pulled the trigger since they only had 1 set left.

I've been reading all I can and I've seen mention of a standard and heavy duty versions. But I see no where on any vendors page where you can choose which version. With only 1 set left I went ahead and ordered these hoping they are correct. I'm sure I can stop the order if I need to. One thing that has me concerned is in this description it says they have 4 adjustments. All the others I see say 5. I'm hoping it's just a typo? How do you tell standard duty from heavy duty?

You guys got any clues? What ones are you running? Thanks.

Here's what I ordered.
