Is there any difference in the Canadian and US versions of the relay and fuse box? MIne has corrosion issues and I am looking at buying a used one from a Canadian wing.
Thanks Dan

Parts are rare in Arizona, the fuse box wording is in Apache.
:? Take a similar part, a-patch'e it in, make'um work.

Few months ago I looked for a spare fuse box on Ebay, OUCH THE PRICES!!!
I ran across a site that sells replacement blades, didn't save the URL.

Has anyone replaced the entire fuse/relay box with a used oem? That is, one that was cut out? I thought it would be straight forward, now I see some wires are duplicated, multiple black and silver dot for example. Is this a suicide mission? Thanks Dan

It shouldn't be a problem if you take your time, and check everything as you go. Having the wiring diagram in front of you would help. Transfer things one at a time and have a meter handy to check continuity between wires and terminals. Taking pictures along the way can really help, too. Honda did do some strange things like wire splices inside the loom and the odd color change. But most of it is pretty straight forward. Open all the loom wrapping from both sides and try to stagger your splices so the loom doesn't get a big knot in it. Solder and heatshrink will make the thinnest joints, but crimp connectors could work as long as you stagger them and use the smaller ones.
Is your fusebox melted or corroded?
The relays are not really a box, just wire end connectors that snap into a frame. So if yours are ok you can just transfer them without touching the wiring. The terminals can also be removed from the connectors with the right tool. Kinda a long needle that pops them out.

Another option is to just get a whole used harness. There are a few on ebay for not that much $. But you need to check year and model as they changed all the time. You can look up the part numbers on Partzilla to see what interchanges.

Only you know your skill level and if this is a job for you.
