Air Fill Hose

Post by jfiely »

Ok Goldwing's. I am working on reassembly of my 40 miles 1993 GL1500. Can anyone tell me where the air fill hose on the right side of the bike is supposed to exit please? It has an old sticky tape hanger near the end of the hose. Looking at the service manual and parts diagrams but can't tell exactly where it should be. Near battery, luggage compartment, some other cover??? Thanks

In the right side luggage compartment near the front .

edit: look at 2:56 in this vid to see where it is.

There are some errors in that video. However, the manual has all that spelled out.

Yeah, but it does show where the hose is.

When I added air in my rear shock oil spit out.
Would it not be more pertinent to place the hose exit it
near the battery as high as possible? (which I did)
Still easy to get to and opens a smidge more room in the bag.

.
