1998 GL 1500 SE California Side Car Trike Conversion

Post by danielklinger »

Dear Goldwingdocs Friends,

This past November 2023 I purchased a 1998 GL 1500 Trike. It has the California Side Car conversion. I was wondering how you get to the relays? Also, I was wondering if the conversion kit used the orginal shock? Thanks for any thoughts you might have. Also, thanks for any information you can direct me to about this conversion.

I appreciate it, Dan

CSC is still around and would be your best source for info.
You can download the owner's manual to start with.

From what I understand they are very helpful with their older products.

Thanks for taking the time to send me your thoughts. I will contact them and see what they have to say. I'd like to replace all my relays before I go to far from home. Maybe they can give me some direction in how to do that. I'm hoping I don't have to take the trike conversion apart to do that. Thanks again...I appreciate your advice, Dan
