ATS CRO of CRF oil and gas treatment for a 30 year old Aspy

Post by eusurp1 »

I heard about ATS CRO oil treatment from my cousin who used it on an older car and had phenomenal results. What about a 6 cylinder Goldwing with 120k miles? Has anyone used this material or does anyone have any thoughts on its use.
I have used Berryman's 12 (B-12) and Seafoam in my gas and they seemed to have 'cured' the hesitation at low speed and the revving at idle almost to the point where there are no issues at all that way.
You thoughts on the oil treatment. Have you seen Scotty Kilmer's garage YouTube videos...he reviewed it for cars...

Thanks

What at a 30 year old bike really needs is a good overhaul. New seals, belts, hoses, pumps, carb cleaning, electric system overhaul etc. In my opinion, most of the additives are expensive and unnecessary for the proper operation of our bikes. I do add gas stabilizer towards the end of the season but nothing else. Routine maintenance and a lot of riding is what keeps these bikes going.

I do not believe that Honda recommends any oil additives. Personally, I'd just change the oil frequently with a good grade of oil. I also can not stand the Scotty Kilmer channel. The content may be okay but the delivery is terrible.

I use Seafoam frequently in the gas, sometimes a HEAVY mix if the carbs need cleaning. I use it in the oil right before an oil change sometimes to get extra crap out.

And, on the advice of an old motorcycle shop owner, I add just a squirt of Marvel Mystery Oil to every tank of gas to help keep rust out of the tank.
That's not just a motorcycle. It's a Gold Wing.

Yea that sounds right to me. I'm hoing to go ahead and use a half application of CRO as you pour it in, run the motor at 2500 rpm, then change the oil and filter.... I guess I'll see what happens....I think Seafoam works and the Mystery Oil can't hurt right....
