In a previous post Rambozo mentioned replacing the center reflector with a light.
I did that 15 plus years ago but I removed the single blubs & sockets and put in double sockets & 1157 bulbs
So I would have more running and brake lights
I have replaced the 1157s with red LEDs
QUESTION
Is the red lense in the reflector the same as in the light ?
If so could a person removed the 2 nuts that hold the reflector in place and hole saw from the bottom holes to hold light sockets ??

There is a difference between the reflector and the light lens, but hey, give it a try or maybe use led strip lights. Those work really good in many of the lights. There are several threads about doing that mod. If the reflector lens doesn't work good, you can still buy the light kit from Cyclemax. But I wouldn't wait too long, lots of 1500 parts are going the way of the Dodo. Like the bag lights with turn signals.
Amazon used to have them. Doubtful they will ever come back.

There is one on ebay but it is cracked.
I hate to bring them up as they have a really bad rep around here, but Saber Cycle says they still have them. Be sure to research before buying from them.

hey rambozo to answer your question on bolts through the plastics is because the previous owner had racks on there that were all pitted and rusted so instead of doing bodywork and paint i covered the holes with the bolts

I did a rack delete as well, for the same reasons.
You can see it here.
