How to reset the digital clock

Post by paseandoconhonda »

For some reason the button to set the clock on my GL 1500 does not work. My question is how can I reset it? The idea is to set it to 00:00 exactly at that time so that it looks good. I realized that disconnecting the battery for a while didn't do the trick. Thank you so much !!!

At night and at 100 it is not noticeable.

Really? I am pretty sure I have always had to reset the clock after disconnecting the battery. Maybe give it another try.

No, I had it unplugged for more than 1 day and when I plug it back in the time appears, at any time, but not at 00:00.

Here's a novel idea, how about fix the setting switch. Odds are it's nothing more than dirty contacts. Are both the hours and minutes switches dead or just one?

It would be a good option, but the thing is that I don't want to dismantle a lot of plastic just for that. My motto is "if there are no two reasons, there is no reason." So I thought we could come back at 00:00 right then and that's it. What I don't understand is why if I disconnect the battery the watch still won't restart.
No matter how much I touch and touch the button it does nothing, as if there was simply no connection.

Maybe it is resetting but to 12:00 and not 00:00 as you are expecting.

It might be a translation thing, but just to make sure, you are twisting the switch? It isn't a button like the odometer reset.

Yes, I saw what you say, it turns to one side and changes the minutes, it turns to the other and changes the hours, but it does nothing.
When you reconnect the battery, the clock appears at any time, perhaps the one it had before, but not at 12 or 00. As if an internal battery maintained it.
At night and at 100 it is not noticeable.
