Depends on where it is leaking from. There are a few seals that are no big deal to change, but others require that you know how to setup gearsets and preload.

I believe it's leaking out the little square hole on the bottom of the final gear case

Thank in advance

That is probably #30 in your diagram, the output shaft oil seal. Pretty easy to change. Also be sure to check that your vent #3 isn't clogged. Otherwise, the case will over pressure and leak from everywhere.

I had the same leak - before I was able to get to the repair, I ran across people talking about this solving their problem - Lucas Oil 10088 Hub Oil

I bought some and replaced the fluid in my final drive. 3 weeks, so far no leaks.

The next time I install this oil I will probably warm it up to make it easier to pump. It is some THICK, STICKY STUFF.

Thanks in advance

There are a few all over the bike. If you don't have the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual, I would suggest you get one. Typically, weird symptoms across different systems often point to grounding problems. Also, anything not factory, like accessory lights, are always a good place to start looking.
