2000 SE, do I have an OD light? CC issues as well

Post by moliver5757 »

I have a 2000 SE that I picked up with ton's of rodent issues, many wires and vacuum lines were compromised and I think I got them all, bike runs so nice except....Cruise control doesn't work. Manual says has to be in 4th gear over a certain mph, 40mph I think, or in Overdrive. What I noticed is I've never seen the OD light at all come on. Cruise light comes on, cruise set light comes on but cruise doesn't work. Do you think they are related to the OD light? I know I should check all the brake lever/pedal switches as well. The brake switch is new as the other one was chewed clean through both wires.

Any thoughts would help, Thanks in advance.

Probably just the bulb burned out, you can replace by reaching under the dash to replace.
