Adjustable floorboards?

Post by Nice95Wing »

I have these aftermarket floorboards on the rear of my GL 1500 one is way lower than the other side. The side that is up looks like it has a scissor type adjusting mechanism? It doesn't want to go up or down I can't seem to find any release for them. They kind of look like they should be free floating with a spring up top but neither side wants to move. Am I missing something here hopefully one of you has these and can tell me what I'm missing. I did find the original purchase slip as pictured but a quick look up on the Internet didn't really bring me any info on them. Thanks

The adjustment is actually factory on the SE models. There is a lever under the right side passenger storage pocket. It is a release cable, the footrests should be spring loaded to pop up and you push them down with your foot. If not used much they could be stuck and need a good clean and lube.

You can file this under the RTFM topic.
The SE has a bunch of little things like this.

Awesome, Thanks they work perfectly. A bit of oil and they are nice and smooth.
