The front left mounting bolt is missing on my trunk and it rattles a lot, and probably not good for it to be bouncing around.
If I remove the Trunk Under-cover trim, can I get to that mount? I think the threaded part broke off so I need to out a nut underneath it and bolt it down. I was kinda hoping I might get to it without TAKING THE WHOLE DAMN BACKEND APART...
Never mind - figured it out, and yes, you do have to take the bike apart.
UPDATE: As I read another post about the front trunk mount breaking, I checked mine and that was the problem. I disconnected the battery and did a super-crappy weld job and put the bracket back together. And now the bike is quieter than it has ever been!

I hate rattles too!! Glad you got it fixed, and all of my welds are super crappy jobs, so you're in good company.

Lighting plugs under the seat/trunk, speaker plugs and passenger control plugs (if installed), antenna connectors 1 or 2 depending on model/options, passenger footrest height cables on SE models. I think that about does it.
And now the bike is quieter than it has ever been!
