Check voltage drop at battery, then at the starter while cranking.

Thanks for the advice, but the battery has been checked and is fine. It starts up easily if you supply direct current from the battery to the starter. It is somewhere between the battery and the starter, of course. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem. Will have to study with time.
