I have a 1999 GL 1500 Aspencade. After a ride last week, I noticed that the temperature and fuel gauges, as well as the running lights, were not working. I checked all of the fuses and didn't see any that were blown.
Could this be a relay that has gone bad?

Check ground connections. To lose everything on one ride indicates a common point of failure, and this usually means a loose/lost ground screw.

Thanks, guys. I will check the ground, but I am also replacing all of the relays. To my knowledge, none of them have ever been replaced. In other words, it can't hurt.

Good news. I replaced all of the relays and now the gauges work.
