Clutch won't release

Post by PeterDas »

I have a 99 gl1500 trike. I replaced clutch a year ago. My slave was leaking and clutch was growling recently. I pulled the cover and changed pilot bearing. It opened up slave and main seal was backwards so I put new seals in correctly. Now I have bled clutch, and the lever stops about mid point in and won't release clutch. I am asking if there is something I did wrong to cause this condition? I am thinking it is in the slave might be the issue, but thought I would ask to see if I'm overlooking something obvious.

Alright, so if you put the clutch lifter plate in backwards, the clutch won't work.... Lesson learned, slow down and pay attention Pete...
