I have some questions about my engine. This is a 1989 GL1500, VIN 1HFSC2201KA108994, engine SN: SC22E-2013887. This means that is US model motorcycle, but the engine is with AICV, reed valves and AICV control valve. This engine seems to be monted on SW models (according to service manual). I suppose that SW means Switzerland. So, it is a US motorcycle with Swiss engine? What if I remove the AICV and reed valves and block the holes in cylinder heads?
Second... The alternator shock are made from rubber or plastic? Mine seems to be hard like plastic and broken in parts...

The alternator buffers are rubber. They don't age well.
Perhaps you have a California model? They typically have extra emission control systems.
