Brake light wire question?

I need wire information on an 08, GL1800, ABS/Airbag. Purchased the Kuryakyn KU908 Pulsating Brake Light Controller for the brake lights. Can anyone tell me what the brake power wire color is coming off the plug to all the brake lights- bike has had no modification done to lighting at this time. I see the plug just behind the fusebox under the seat. Instructions weren't clear to me about how to locate the power wire??
I'm no electrician and I don't want to screw this up. Much thanks for any info on this.

It depends on whether you want ALL the lights to pulsate, or just the lights and not the high-mount LED brake.

In any case, the wire you want to intercept is green with a red stripe. It supplies +12V when the brake is applied:

You can easily intercept it at pin #3 on Connector 31, which is a 14-pin grey connector under the rear of the seat (with the seat removed):

Doing so will flash your main brake lights, but not your high-mount LED.

Ok, I was a little slow getting to the project but I have now installed the brake light pulse deviced- I used the Green wire/red strip in the 14 pin connector under the seat. This actually activated the Spoiler led brake lights only-- it did not affect the primary brake lights. This is a good combination to use. I'll leave it connected this way.

So...along that line. You put in the Pulsating brake control, and test it out and it all works as stated. Now here is a issue, I switched all My bulbs on the bike to be LED bulbs as well as a new relay for the LED turn signal light. Now the pulsating control does not work anymore, but if I replace one LED bulb with a regular condense bulb then the pulsating lights work. What else is needed to have ALL led bulbs and have pulsating brake lights?

Some brake light flashers only work for LEDs and some only work for incandescent bulbs, some work for both, it may say on your flasher module.
I use LED compatible flasher modules on the lights I added in various locations, because I can do it with out out breaking into the bike's wiring. Recently I had a trunk tail light blow and as I had tapped into the brake lights in the trunk to have both filaments (Tail & Brake) work on my 2013, I opted for some LEDs that had brake light flashers built in the bulbs, they are plug and play and work great, here is a link to my post on them a few weeks back.

I purchased from Signal Dynamics because their flashers state they will work with regular bulbs or LEDs. I have all six of my rear tail and brake lights as LEDs. I'm also thinking of changing out the Turn Signals for all 4 locations.
