Finally fit vance and hines exhaust.

I Posted on the problems i was having installing my vance and hines monster exhaust for a 2009 wing. After several hrs of frustration i was able to get the exhaust to fit. However i also had to modify the heat shields. Because the exhaust would not fit tight enough to the heat shield i was left with a gas of over 1/8 inch. To rectify this i had to enlarge the hole on the heat shiedl so it would slide forward enough to close the gap. It is now down to a 16th. Talked to vance and hines tech department. They were no help. They refused to believe that the pipes would not fit. Gave me a bunch silly suggestions. Point is they were not willing to admit there maybe was a problem in manufacturing. I regret buying these pipes and the sound i get is better but not as lould as there video suggests. Stick with the stock exhaust its not worth it. K-rod
