Hot Engine

Post by pattayapaul »

When in heavy traffic my engine starts to severly overheat.
I have checked the coolant and the fuses but I never hear the fans engaging, are they that quiet or am I missing something?

They are not that quiet, however, you may not hear them in HEAVY traffic. Are you sure the bike is overheating, or is it simply the indicator that is showing an overheat condition? The sensor may be the problem. If the fans are not engaging though, in heavy traffic, this could result in overheating.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey
