On Line Parts

I have been searching for body parts online and prices differ so much. Who has the best prices on OEM parts in your opinion?

It depends on what parts you are looking for. There are several online places that have good parts / prices and service.

Directline seems to be about the largest, and their prices are much lower than dealerships.

It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

DLP is an "off shoot" of a dealership! I don't find their OEM prices much better than going to a dealer! They do have a price match policy.
Another excellant source is http://wingstuff.com/
I would suggest searching on line motorcycle salvage yards for body parts.

I've been using Cyclemax for a couple years now - their prices are usually on par, or very slightly lower than anywhere else you'll find on the web: http://cyclemax.com/oem

One I like is Shinhopples.com. The gentleman and better half that own it are "top notch" excellant people. Another site is Chromeworld.com.

I recently purchased a pair of "new"color-matched mirror housing for my 2001 GL1800 from Everett Powersports in either Washington or Oregon for 50% of what my local dealers wanted ($75 vs. $150) ea. with free shipping. They have an ebay store so you can check there. I've bought from them several times and have been happy with them each time... Good Luck!
