Just bought this bike after riding my 83 goldwing for 30 years, the radio only gets one station and it is very very weak. I would like to know if the antenna wire hooks up under the seat or does it go all the way to the radio
got to have my tunes when riding
trent_em thanks for any help

Re: 2005 goldwing radio
The plug for the radio pugs in to the right side of the gas tank you really have to remove all the screws that hold down the cente dash and reach up under and push the plug in but donot remove any other wiring conection and if it not plug in all the way you will know.trent_em wrote:Just bought this bike after riding my 83 goldwing for 30 years, the radio only gets one station and it is very very weak. One thing you can try is, to disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the radio. I you cant find the problem, contact this guy, Larry, he knows all about these radios.

Check for a second male/female plug under the seat, just behind the cross bar where the relays are. Should be one each for CB and radio.

Yes you can run a continuity test with a meter and that will tell you if the wire is good.
