2006 Multi display control switches

Post by trukker264 »

Getting to be that time, went out and started going over the ride and found a few problems that were not there when I parked it in November. Seems the MFD control switches for display and trip don't work, other two seem fine. Real pain in the butt, as once the Nav is activated, can't get back to normal display. Another problem that came up, probably unrelated, is the message antenna disconnected. I assume this is for the gps. Has anyone heard if there is some kind of problem with the wiring plugs on these things acting up? I installed a rear fender led over the winter, not a big job, and according to the wiring diagrams I was nowhere close to any wiring that would affect the gps or MFDisplay. Anyone have ideas?

Switches traveling - this is normal, you have to push, after a while they start to work, and the antenna is under glass in a black plastic, the connection is under the glove box on the right arm, and the second call under the seat, left
maybe you have a damp garage?
motor behavior in a warm place!
