replacing coil pack for 05 1800
Can someone please tell me where the coil pack for the 1800 is located? Also, is there any information on how to replace it. Thank you

Re: replacing coil pack for 05 1800
The GL1800 has three coils, which are located under the top shelter. A Haynes or Clymer manual or better yet, a Honda Service manual will have directions on how to change them. There is also information in the service manuals on how to test them, so that you can decipher which of the three might be bad.
To Replace:
Remove the Center Inner Fairing (page 2-10 of the Honda Service Manual)
Remove the Evaporative Emission (EMAP) Purge Control Solenoid Valve from the stay
Disconnect the Ignition Coil 4P Connectors
Disconnect the Spark Plug Wires from the Ignition Coils
Remove the bolts and the ignition coils from the stay
Installation is in the reverse order.
