Hello all
I have a unusal intermittant issue. Sometimes I have a difficult time to get my 09 into neutral. like it skips it it going up or down. I do get it in after a little bit BUT its anoying it should just pop in with slight half up and half down.
Any ideas?

When I have trouble changing gears when the bike isn't moving I let the clutch out part way until it begins to grab, then pull it in and shift. That usually works for me.

My 09 is the same, and even sometimes, when shifting from first to second, will stop in neutral first. I just continue on like it did not happen (shift it into second) and usually it is fine. This seems to happen most often when the bike has not been brought up to operating temperature.
