Just wised up that the GL2WAY produced by BikeMP3 is discontinued. I can't find one anywhere on the web for 2001-2010 GL1800. I contacted BikeMP3 and they stated that the end on October 2013 or in November they should release a new product called Evolution for the 2001-2010 GL1800. That is all the information available now other than it should sell for about $200 less than Honda CB.
So I'll wait till then to get the CB.

They were using Harley CB units as their core, and adding a module that allowed them to be controlled by the GL1800 control bus. However, Harley has decided that their buyers don't care about CB's, and discontinued the unit, which means that BikeMP3 has to find a new source for a CB core, and develop a new interface for it.tfdeputydawg wrote:The source for the CB unit dried up! It's not too tough to design and build your own CB, but the cost of FCC testing and certification in order to sell a new CB design is astronomical, so they really are stuck with using existing off-the-shelf units and modifying them.

Not quite correct!
The info I got was HD decided not to supply these units to "outsiders" any more!
The 2014 Ultra limited still has a CB!
