loose connectors
loose connectors
I have problems with High beam on my GL1800, cannot turn on. After putting off plastics of dashboard, I have seen the front connectors out of there white plastic rack, one have rubbed on the inside of dash so the high beam connector was loose. I have bypassed this faulty connector with a jumper wire soldered and fixed the connectors racks with the bolt and tyraps, wishing the will remain there for a while. I suggest to look for these connectors racks when you undress your bike for replacement of air filter.

Re: loose connectors
I concur. When you are doing general maintenance, you should always be on the lookout for wear and tear that may need attention, either immediately or next time, so that you can get the parts you may need ordered.
