Changing ECT Sensor
Got the FI code 7 , I have bought a new ECT sensor part 37870-MAT-E01, trying to pull the covers off but have caught a snag so far, researching this I may have to take the whole fairing off? Is there a simpler way? How does the nosepiece come off?

All the bolts are undone, two push pins stopping me, remember to cover guard, a card table to sit loose fairing on over wheel.

Broke the old sensor getting it off the wire connector, got a 19mm tube socket to unscrew it and fit the new one.

Bike is back together and running properly, phew!
Tips: take the left side fairing off only, put rags under the side bolt holes of the garnish to stop losing bolts when refitting.
