Just fitted a set of after market heated grips,the original Honda left side failed.
But now the cruise will not work,although the amber light on the dash illuminates the green set/resume light will not illuminate,checked the fuses all ok,and sprayed the switches on the clutch side brake side and foot brake with WD40 still not working has anyone any ideas, pleeeeez

Did you test the OEM heater to see what actually failed before installing the aftermarket product?

Try pushing outward on the clutch lever when you try setting the cruise. If it works look at the brass bushing in the clutch lever to make sure there is no wear. The lever should engage a small switch on the front side of the switch cluster. The other possibility is you damaged the wires from the switch when you did the grips.

Thanks for replies guys,played around with all the switches pushed pulled,sprayed everything with WD40 or similar,and been out for a ride today brilliant sunshine and lo and behold everything is working,until it happens again I suppose.
