Is it possible to download a 08 GW service manual.
When I try, I'm asked to download software. ???

I do not know of anywhere you can download a manual except for this one, and it is for 01-05 GL1800 bikes. If that would suffice for you, here is the link.

You might check with: www.helminc.com

They want to sell you the manual and I don't know if they have the capability to allow downloads. They do all of Honda's manuals.

thanks harvey01. I actually have a Honda Service manual from helminc I was just hoping there was something I could view on the PC. I may buy a manual on DVD at some point.

I think Helm quit making the digital manuals because of pirating. Easy to copy. I had one for my '04 and had it installed on my laptop that I carried on week long trips. Never had to use it but it was always there.
As far as ones on the internet, they are either pirated copies or fakes. Maybe someone actually took the time to scan a paper manual. Hundreds of pages.
